No overselling, no guesswork — just a Emergency Hvac crew that diagnoses it right the first time. Same-day appointments available across Groveland and the surrounding zip codes.
Call +1-866-805-8548 and describe what your system is doing — the symptoms help us send a tech prepared with the right parts.
Ask as many questions as you want; we'd rather over-explain than leave you unsure.
Most repairs are completed same-visit, and we test the system before we leave to confirm it's actually holding.
Leonard HVAC didn't start as a franchise chasing volume. Our crews carry manufacturer certifications across the major residential and commercial equipment lines.
We're not the biggest name in Groveland — we're the team that shows up in the truck, not a subcontractor we've never met. Licensing and insurance aren't optional line items for us, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, routine or emergency.
Groveland's climate swings hard, and generic national playbooks don't always fit. That local knowledge shapes the parts we stock on the truck — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Too many homeowners in Groveland have a story about a tech who showed up late, quoted one price, and charged another. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. Every dispatcher, every technician, and every follow-up call is held to the same standard, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Groveland is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
Our office team is based locally too, not routed through an out-of-state call center that's never seen a Groveland rooftop unit. It also means faster escalation when something's urgent — a local dispatcher can reroute the nearest truck in minutes, not hours.
Whether it's a mid-summer breakdown or a planned system replacement, our Groveland techs handle it with the same level of care.
Breakdowns rarely happen at a convenient time, which is exactly why our emergency line runs 24 hours a day. Our Groveland dispatch team moves emergency tickets to the front of the schedule so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
We keep the truck stocked with the parts that fail most often on the equipment common to Groveland homes, which is exactly why most repairs don't require a return visit.
If your unit is past its expected service life, running loud, or spiking your utility bill, a replacement conversation is worth having. We walk Groveland homeowners through load calculations so the new system is sized correctly for the actual square footage before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
We protect floors and entryways during the install and haul away the old equipment so you're not left dealing with disposal.
Downtime in a commercial space costs money every hour a system is offline. Our commercial division services light industrial and warehouse ventilation across Groveland, with priority response for facilities that can't afford downtime.
We understand that a commercial call isn't just about comfort, it's about keeping a business open.
Most emergency breakdowns start as a small, ignorable warning sign months earlier. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier installation for Groveland households that want more than just temperature control.
A tune-up typically takes under an hour and covers the checkpoints most likely to catch a problem before it becomes a breakdown.
This is the standard every Groveland technician on our team is held to.
Every repair comes with a workmanship warranty explained in plain terms before we leave.
Emergency dispatch never comes with a hidden surcharge sprung on you after the fact.
A technician doesn't consider the job done until the system is tested and performing correctly.
Catching these signs early usually means a same-day repair instead of an emergency call at the worst possible moment.
Rattling during startup often means a component has worked itself loose and needs tightening before it causes real damage.
This is one of the most common complaints we hear on service calls across Groveland.
A tune-up often identifies exactly what's driving the extra energy use.
Short cycling puts extra wear on the compressor and shortens the system's overall lifespan.
Chemical odors may signal a refrigerant leak, which requires a licensed technician to handle safely.
If you're calling about the same problem every few months, the underlying cause likely hasn't been fully addressed.
We explain diagnostic fees and repair estimates before authorizing work.
Emergency calls get moved to the front of the line automatically.
Parts and labor are backed by warranty terms explained in plain language.
We run background checks because you're letting someone into your home.
We explain what failed, why it failed, and what the options are.
Replacement systems don't have to be paid in one lump sum.
We don't write these — our customers do.
"The furnace stopped working overnight and someone was at our door before 9am. Fixed on the first visit and explained everything in terms I could actually understand."
"Signed up for the annual plan after our first repair and it's paid for itself already. Techs are always polite, always on time, and clean up after themselves."
"Had a full system replacement done and it was the smoothest home project I've had in years. Followed up a week later just to check everything was still running fine."
"Commercial dispatch was quick and the tech understood our system without needing to be walked through it. Documentation for our records was thorough and easy to file."
"Got quotes from four different companies for a replacement and this was the only one that actually walked me through the load calculation. Installation crew was in and out in a day and left the space cleaner than they found it."
"Called at 11pm during a heat wave and honestly didn't expect anyone to pick up, let alone show up. Genuinely relieved to have found a crew that answers when it matters."
After thousands of service calls across Groveland, a handful of causes show up again and again.
The shift between peak heating and peak cooling demand is exactly when older or neglected equipment tends to fail. Before the coldest stretch of the year, a heating system benefits from a full safety inspection, checking the heat exchanger, ignition system, and airflow to catch any issue that could turn into a no-heat emergency.
Clearing debris, leaves, and overgrown landscaping away from an outdoor condenser unit gives it room to breathe and keeps it running efficiently. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Whether your Groveland home has a traditional split system, a ductless mini-split, a heat pump, or a hybrid dual-fuel setup, our crews are equipped to diagnose and repair it. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
We don't outsource dispatch to a call center that's never met our technicians.

Keeps the emergency truck stocked based on what actually fails most often locally.

We explain the diagnostic fee upfront and provide a flat-rate repair quote once the issue is identified.
We staff after-hours dispatch specifically because HVAC failures rarely happen on a convenient schedule.
We maintain current credentials because it protects both our customers and our team.
We never push a replacement when a straightforward repair will genuinely solve the problem.
Ask your technician about current plan pricing during any service call.

Most Groveland homes benefit from two tune-ups a year — one before cooling season and one before heating season.
Beyond basic safety checks, it's best to leave diagnosis to a licensed technician rather than attempting a repair yourself.
We'd rather quote it honestly on the phone than have you feel ambushed by the bill.
Most standard repairs are completed in under two hours once the technician has diagnosed the issue and you've approved the quote.
Let dispatch know ahead of time if access will be handled differently than a standard homeowner visit.
Housing stock varies a lot across Groveland — older homes often still run original ductwork that needs different care than the sealed, high-efficiency systems going into newer builds.
We also work regularly with homeowners associations, property management companies, and multi-unit buildings throughout Groveland.
A full system replacement is one of the bigger home expenses most people face, and we don't expect everyone to pay it in a single lump sum. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Groveland installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
Coverage extends across Groveland proper and into the nearby zip codes listed below.
If you're on the edge of our listed zip codes, it's still worth a call, since routes and coverage get adjusted as demand shifts.
